WHAT? Paid Staff 23 hours & up = 5 credits annually Paid Staff 10-22 hours = 4 credits annually Paid Staff 1-9 hours = 3 credits annually Ministry Reps = 2 credits annually (optional but strongly encouraged) WHEN? On your own schedule! Set aside time every week to learn. Taco Training Tuesday is a great choice! Begins in June, Ends in May each year. Credits reset each year. WHO Tracks This? #1 You #2 With Your Supervisor - Share what you learned & how you will use it #3 Request credit in Skyprep (We are testing this) What counts? If you are learning something, it most likely will count! Books, Seminars, YouTube Training Videos, Conferences, Workshops, Experts on Call (With ISI), Regional and National Conference Workshops, etc. If you aren’t sure - ask us! What if I can’t complete my credits? This is a testing year. It is between you and your supervisor how to handle this. We want your feedback. How did it go? Was it helpful? Frustrating? We will collect your insights in May of 2027. JUST FOR FUN: In addition to earning credits, you can also earn Skyprep points! Training TuesdaysISI is testing a new continuing education requirement for staff. We ask that you make intentional time to learn every week, matched with your annual growth goals, earning credits each year. WHY TUESDAYS? Building a habits depends upon memory and consistency. Introducing “Training Tuesday” is just a prompt to help you remember to be intentional and set aside some time to learn, Tuesday or any day! Design your learning according to your own schedule! To reinforce Training Tuesdays, the Training Department will award prizes randomly only to those who log into Skyprep or request external credit on a TUESDAY. We will do this between September 2026-January 2027. |
